Knitting in public

Knitting in public is something I do nearly every day. Once I overcame my initial shyness to knit on the train, I stopped worrying what people thought. As it was Knitting in Public day this weekend, I thought a slightly greater effort than usual was called for. I did knit on 3 trains, but also managed a bit of knitting in the ballroom (really just the foyer) of the newly re-opened Royal Festival Hall.

There were certainly plenty of people

Just to prove it was the RFH - although if you don't know the building, you'll have to take my word for it that the tree is hiding 'Festival'
